The market town of Bideford, the ancient maritime village of Appledore, and the traditional seaside delights of Westward Ho! are all within a 2miles radius of the coast apartment at Northam.
Take the car a little further afield and explore Clovelly, Hartland, Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay, Ilfracombe, Woolacombe, Lynton and Lynmouth all stunning locations along the coast. Inland the country towns of Torrington, South Molton and other little villages you'll just stumble across make for good trips out. Exmoor and Dartmoor are both within easy reach.
Explore the wonderful gardens of North Devon. Further afield the Eden Centre and Lost Gardens of Helligan are also worth the journey.
Visit when the roads are quieter and the beaches nearly deserted to experience life in North Devon - great any time of the year. Short breaks are available throughout the year and can start on any day of the week.
A regular bus runs through the village from Appledore and Westward Ho! via Bideford and Instow to Barnstaple. The Tarka Line rail service operates between Exeter and Barnstaple with a bus connection or we can make taxi reservations for your pick-up.
