has been in David's familiy since
it was built by his great-grandfather in 1923, and named after his
coastal
schooner. It's a comfortable
family house

relax inside and out in the south facing garden. It's only
a
short stroll to the historic Quayside
with its maze of narrow winding
streets, galleries, pubs, and restaurants. Sleeps 6, sitting

Appledore
situated on the Taw/Torridge estuary has been an important maritime
village for centuries. It still retains it's narrow streets,
cobbled courtyards and tiny fishermen's cottages making this a great
place to explore on foot. Children love crabbing on the Quayside,
taking the ferry to the beach across the river, or enjoying the
traditional seaside delights at Westward Ho! |
